About Reid Johnson

Originally from the Lone Star State of Texas, Reid Johnson discovered his passion for the outdoors at a very young age. As a child, along with his father and his brother Chuck, Reid would spend plenty of time outside, whether it was fishing, hunting with his father, or just doing the fun things that children do. However, it was when his Uncle introduced him to gardening that he discovered his true passion, and what it was that he wanted to be involved with moving forward.

Over the years, he has had the privilege of traveling to some of the most incredible gardens on earth, including his favorite place in the world, the Keukenhof Gardens in the Netherlands. If asked what the best part of gardening was, Reid would say the ability to express yourself through the flowers and the trees. Aside from gardening and spending time enjoying the outdoors, Reid is an avid reader, especially when it comes to romance novels and science fiction.

As a man of many words, he's also an expert on fine wine, and is proud of the fact. Besides, he strongly feels that wine and a fresh garden can mesh well together.
